Wolfe Road Educator +

Workforce Housing

New Construction / Educator Housing + Affordable Housing

The vision for the new housing community at 10333 N Wolfe Road is rooted in community values, preferences, and needs—from the educators who will live there to the neighbors who surround it. A robust community engagement process has brought together diverse voices including West Valley school staff, nearby residents, and other local Cupertino stakeholders. Through more than 30 one-on-one interviews, 10 public workshops and pop-up events, and conversations with over 400 participants, community priorities and lived experiences have directly informed the project at every level. The result is a thoughtfully designed, mixed-income community that expands access to high-quality affordable homes, with a particular focus on housing for West Valley educators and school staff.

Community input has had a major influence on everything from the architectural look and feel of the buildings, to the landscape and open spaces, to the design of indoor and outdoor amenities and individual apartment layouts. Feedback has also informed operational and policy decisions, ensuring the community functions in ways that support health, well-being, and long-term belonging.

The development is anticipated to be built in two to three phases, beginning with a first phase dedicated to educator housing. In alignment with the City’s rezoning of the site, the plan envisions approximately 250–300 homes for rent across the 5+ acre property. A diverse mix of unit types will support residents across a range of incomes, creating a welcoming, inclusive neighborhood designed for long-term stability, connection, and belonging.
