Hafsa Siap

Designer (she/her)

Hafsa Siap, Assoc. AIA, is an architectural designer at FORA who enjoys shaping ideas into thoughtful, buildable solutions. Her work across multi-family housing, hospitality, and civic projects brings a collaborative mindset to complex design challenges. She is especially interested in how careful planning and precise thinking can create spaces that feel intuitive and grounded.

Originally from Istanbul, Hafsa studied architecture there before moving to the United States to complete her master’s degree at Georgia Tech. That experience continues to inform her perspective on density, adaptive reuse, and the role of housing in shaping communities. She approaches design with curiosity, guided by asking questions, testing ideas, and contributing within a shared vision.

Outside of making Revit families, she enjoys connecting with students and early-career professionals exploring design, experimenting with new recipes, and staying active, often strolling along the Chicago lakeside with her husband or discovering new coffee spots around the city.

What excites me about design is the opportunity to create thoughtful spaces that positively shape everyday experience. I'm especially drawn to housing because of its direct impact on how people live and connect to their communities. - Hafsa
