Teddie Gourdet
Associate / Human Experience Lead (she/her)
Teddie, NOMA, Assoc. AIA, with her background in kinesiology, is interested in how the physical body relates to space and architecture. She is keen to promote wellness through the spaces we create. She approaches design through science-based research, and was drawn to architecture for the field’s ability to solve problems with tangible outcomes. Teddie is a graduate of UNC Charlotte, receiving her undergrad degree in Kinesiology and a graduate degree Architecture there. She believes to be a good designer is to be an even better listener.
Teddie is a CrossFit queen. Her strength, drive, and energetic personality inspires us all! She enjoys outdoor activities, such as ATV riding, and traveling. Her bucket list includes: A year-long multi-country tour, space travel, and adopting a British shorthair! Teddie, like many of us, is a foodie (she needs to fuel her wild workouts, adventures, and space travel somehow!), often enjoying food tours (yummyyy!!). When asked her favorite dessert, she responded with oatmeal raisin cookies.
"You really have to have a goal. The goal posts might shift, but you should have a goal. Know what it is that you are trying to find out."
